looking back year 2014

Wishing you a happy new year with lots of color!
Have a blessed 2015!
To be embraced by God's love!

Surveying God's Word and Praying for Peace

Attending the same church. Like worshiping in its usual (or new) style and tempo. This is my seventh year in Bible Study Fellowship. This year's study is Life of Moses, re-looping the same topic when i first join the class. Still have great anticipation for messages from the Pentateuch.

Academic Work

a productive year, teaching new courses, let's count...
  1. gcs and ngos
  2. ict and globalization
  3. understanding global cities (= urban sociology)
  4. education and development
  5. final graduation project (T1 & 2)
looping and revising "old" ones,
  1. methods
  2. development
  3. globalization and society
my thankfulness to God who provides. I have never thought about that. Teaching has never been easy, as shared by senior teachers in the field. Yet, i am learning the joy of teaching.

But my paper and research...still making efforts, God's grace is always enough for a person who is never sufficient all the time.

Traveling Me: Taipei, Taichung and Umbrella City

Taipei: Took a short field trip to Taipei with students in March. Great time with students and thankful for God's protection of the whole trip. Pleasant trip, I thought my energy and strength could not take too much of that, so far so good.

Taichung:a summer reunion with two school friends! Nice to become a "teenager" again!

Umbrella City: from sept to nov, city ethnography to observe how a city grows and made invisible.

not & zero + me
An illustration for Sowers' fund-raising for China's earthquake relief in August.

At the same time, making plans to prepare for not & zero workshop's 10th birthday in 2015. Nothing much has done so far...but in God's timing, there shall be.

...continue to count (or paint) His blessings one by one...
